Despite eating like a piggie for a few days, I’ve managed to lose weight. Of course Rachi’s rehearsal dinner is tonight and the wedding and Thanksgiving are next week, followed by holiday parties and lunches. I should be back to my normal weight by January. Sticking with the best body bootcamp though. Weeks 5 and 6 workouts look terrible and by terrible I mean they’re gonna kick my butt. Appropriate for the season.

We heard that Roy was planning to take off yesterday, so we made lunch plans. He did take off and our 11:00 meeting was cancelled, but he sent us an invite for 12:30. We decided we could still do lunch at 1. After the 12:30 meeting, we knew he was going to call one of us, because that’s what he does. I told Manoswita I wasn’t going to answer my phone. My phone did not ring though. Unfortunately it was Sean that got the call this time. I was getting texts from him at Friday’s up until 1:40 when, still on the phone with Roy, he lost all hope of joining us. When Roy takes vacation, he has to start actually taking vacation. And he wonders why we don’t want to leave CDT to come work for him. The only thing keeping him from making us miserable is the fear of losing us to another project. I’m not giving that up.

  1. Congratulations on losing weight! I’m sure you can keep it up :D

I’m sorry to hear you were affected by the hurricane and that it ruined Halloween for you. I hope there wasn’t much damage other than the annoying power outages :)

  2. Hi there!

Your post is very interesting. You’ve been eating more and you’ve managed to lose weight? I actually went ahead and starved myself last week and didn’t see one inch drop off of my body! Ugh, trying to lose weight is so frustrating. I don’t want to accept that I’ll be overweight for the rest of my life. But I’m seriously addicted to food. I can’t help it.
