We decided on a $20,000 budget this weekend.
15000 will go to the reception venue including, locations for the ceremony and reception, food, alcohol, rentals and cake. That’s about $70pp assuming 200 people. There’s 100 people I’m inviting on my side. I don’t know how many on Bryan’s side. At the very most there will be 200 people though. We can probably get away with $79pp which is how much packages are for my preferred venues.
1,000 will go to my dress.
1,000 – 2,000 for the photographer
1,000 for the DJ
1,000 for invitations and decorations
I’ll pay for my bouquet, shoes, gifts and Bryan’s ring.
He’ll pay for my ring and his attire if it doesn’t fit in the budget :P It’s OK, he’s a guy, that stuff’s a lot cheaper.
Oy, still seems like too much money for one day.
I also think I know who will make up our wedding party, but since they don’t know, it’s not right if you all know first :P
As for our honeymoon… Bryan’s cousin is getting married in Hawaii that summer. Rather than making two trips to Hawaii, we figured we can take our honeymoon then. We can do one week on one island and then a few days for the wedding on that island. I have no idea how we’re paying for this.
