Bridal Show at the PNC Reception Center
My second bridal show. This time I was accompanied by Bryan, his mommy and my mommy. And I was set with a date and venue (more on that later) which made things much easier.
It was much more crowded this time. There were so many people there, it was hard to move. There were also more vendors as well. Many, many photography companies, limo companies and entertainment companies. Honestly, right now, I can’t really tell you who was who. It was pretty crazy in there.
The PNC Reception Center:
They didn’t impress me as much as I thought they would. If it was still between them and The Westwood, I would have to think about my decision some more. Their presentation didn’t look extraordinarily nice and the food was just OK. They didn’t have a very large sampling, but the food at the Jacques show was much better. The cake too, but it’s really hard to beat that cake.
Entertainment Companies:
Elite Entertainment performed again, but we didn’t see their show. They also assured my mom they do in fact do karaoke. Something the other entertainment companies can’t promise, but a few of them said they can work something out.
The Fuzzpops performed as well. They’re pretty good. We’re not band people, but if we were, I would definitely consider them.
Attire
True Love was there again. No free garter this time. It’s OK, I have one :P
Cara Lynn’s Bridal in Oakhurst did the fashion show this time. They gave me a certificate for $50 in free merchandise with purchase f a wedding gown. They some had dresses from moonlight bridal. I was looking at those the other day, I like them too.
Dante and Zeller also had tuxes in the fashion show. As they are the only tux place I know of around here, there’s a good chance the guys might go there. The groom gets a free tux rental if 5 guys in the wedding party rent from there. Bryan doesn’t think we could coordinate that. I have a feeling he’s right.
Flowers
I was impressed with both floral companies. Something Nice Floral Designs did the centerpieces on the table. Some of them were really cool. I liked the ones with candles hanging from or in the flowers. I thought that looked neat. I can’t find anything on their website like those though. Maybe I’m wrong and they didn’t do the centerpieces. I don’t know.
Flowers by Addalia’s was the other one. They had some bouquets that I thought were really nice. Of course they also don’t have them on their website.
Other Vendors:
I’ll have to write more as they call because there were just so many and none of them really stood out. Well, that’s not completely true. The awesome lady from Macy’s that was at the last bridal show, she recognized me, lol. I like her. I want to register at Macy’s just because of her. I’ve also heard really good things about Macy’s too. The only problem is, I don’t know if we can find enough stuff we like there. We’ll see, we still have time. Fortunoff gave me a giftcard if I register for a certain amount of stuff. That’s new.
