Both Elissa and Bryan went to Rutgers, though they didn’t meet until after Bryan graduated. Elissa majored in Computer Science with a minor in Cognitive Science. Bryan was able to help her with her Philosophy classes as he was a Philosophy major with a minor in Psychology.

On their first date, Elissa invited Bryan over, and they watched Rent in Elissa’s dorm; she has a thing for musicals.

Bryan cooks for the both of them every night – mostly with a southwest influence – and Elissa does more than her fair share by keeping things clean.

They watch TV together most nights. Recently they re-watched all the episodes of Farscape – their favorite series.

During break in college when they didn’t see each other as often, the couple would play World of Warcraft as a way of spending time together.

Elissa is an excellent singer, and loves to sing along to showtunes. Bryan likes it when she joins him to sing in Rock Band.

Lately Bryan is proud of his skills at Rock Band drums, though he has to be careful not to play too often for fear of annoying everyone.

Bryan enjoys skiing at his dad’s in Colorado, and once tried to bring Lissy along, but she didn’t share his enthusiasm for the sport. Instead, she stays home and takes care of Bryan’s dad’s doggies. Being that she loves doggies, this works out perfectly.

The couple dreams of one day owning their own house so they can do laundry at their leisure, and adopt doggies.

If they ever have a daughter, they plan to name her Kaylee, after the cute engineer in the TV series, Firefly.
