I volunteered to do the presentation for the One Team, our little social group that plans events for the organization, at the Employee Series meeting yesterday. <\/p>\n
So I’m sitting there, waiting for my turn to speak when people in the front start twitching. Turns out there’s a huge spider walking around the front of the room. Great! The only thing I’m more afraid of than public speaking is spiders.<\/p>\n
It’s my turn to go up and I start looking around for the giant creepy crawly, like a freak. I don’t see it. I go through the presentation as quickly as possible and with many umms. I run back to my seat. <\/p>\n
I don’t think anyone noticed I was shaking. They all said I did a good job. I’m sure they were glad it was short. Our slides somehow got messed up though. The heads were all missing their stick figure bodies. Everyone was kinda looking at the screen like, why are these people decapitated?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
