I can’t dance.<\/p>\n
I didn’t know this when I was a little. When I took dance classes, they would put me in the back. I never caught on. Through time and many failed audition attempts, I realized that I sucked.<\/p>\n
I always thought I wasn’t too bad though, when I danced at home, by myself, where no other living organism could see me. No, pressure, right? My body is free to move as it pleases. I’ve danced in front of the mirror before, I didn’t think I looked too bad.<\/p>\n
I dance around my room as part of my cardio on the days I do strength training. I recorded myself yesterday, because you know, I’m just that narcissistic. Like most people, I am infinitely better in my head. The difference is that I never thought I was very good to begin with. <\/p>\n
I thought I at least lifted my arms and legs straight. I look like some sort of monkey. I don’t even look like I’m standing up straight. I’m not as bad as Elaine or anything, but it’s bad. In my head I’m all graceful and in reality, not so much. I deleted the video right after I watched it. <\/p>\n
Maybe I’m really not that bad, maybe it was the camera distracting me. Either way, you will never see me dancing in public. <\/p>\n
