The fireworks in Ridgewood were pretty cool. I’d say as good as Disney’s. We could have done without their pre-show. It wouldn’t have been so bothersome if the music wasn’t so loud and we could have a real conversation over it. Especially the baton twirlers. That was just unnecessary embarrassment for those poor girls. The skydivers were pretty cool, but unfortunately that part of the program lasted only about ten minutes. Oh well, good fireworks and good company :)<\/p>\n
I slept over my parents’ house since I didn’t get home until relatively late. I left for work from there on Tuesday morning. I won’t be doing that again. Traffic wasn’t horrendous, but it was worse than on Sunday night. Just happy I wasn’t going North. Shore traffic plus rush hour traffic. I could only imagine the amount of cursing going on in those cars.<\/p>\n
Went out to lunch yesterday with a bunch of girls at work. Sumaya ordered a veggie burger, but when her food arrived, there was no bun. We asked the waiter where the bun was and he said, “it’s a veggie burger, they don’t come with buns.” … Can it really be called a burger if it doesn’t come with a bun? I’ve ordered veggie burgers a few times at different places, it always comes with something. They gave her lettuce, tomato, onions… how is someone supposed to eat all that without a bun??? <\/p>\n
I’m on google+ now. Does the world need another social networking site? Probably not, but someone needs to keep facebook on their toes and google has the best shot. <\/p>\n

My mom’s boss just approved her vacation yesterday and she wants me to change the hotel reservation to do sunday-sunday instead of saturday-sunday because of Yom Kippur, because she got into a car accident on Yom Kippur one year. I told her she was crazy and she would have to deal with changing the hotel reservations.
