Yesterday was the last day<\/a>. I had pretty much given up on most things on my list. As I said before, a lot of them are no longer relevant. There were two things I really wanted to do though: go see Akua and eat at Serendipity 3. I did both yesterday.<\/p>\n

I took the train into the city and met Akua for lunch. The tiny restaurant had an hour long wait which I didn’t find all that surprising. I tried to make reservations, but couldn’t get. So we put our names down and came back an hour later. <\/p>\n

We hadn’t seen each other since we were 15. We chatted about all sorts of stuff. She doesn’t have a facebook account, so I filled her in on what our mutual acquaintances have been up to. Yeah, if you went to MS\/HS with us, we probably talked about you. Though she would be like, what’s so and so doing now and I’m like, pfft, I don’t know, I don’t memorize these peoples’ profiles. I know who got married, but not much else.<\/p>\n

The food was better than I expected after reading reviews online. Certainly overpriced, but not insane or anything. The frozen hot chocolate was pretty awesome. Especially on a day like yesterday. <\/p>\n
