I went to three doctors this week.<\/p>\n
I went for my physical on Wednesday. I hadn’t gone for a physical in six years, even though it’s completly free with my insurance. Basically the doctor said, well, you’re healthy and you don’t need any shots yet, so this wasn’t really necessary. Probably a good idea to go every now and then, especially because everyone keeps telling me I might have diabetes as soon as they find out my dad has it. Seriously. I told the doctor I pee a lot, but that’s normal for me because I’m small, so my bladder’s small, and I drink a lot of water. But my dad has diabetes, so I better watch out!<\/p>\n
The eye doctor said the same thing! My eyesight changed, could be diabetes. Of course then he added if it were diabetes, it would happen suddenly and be much more dramatic. So, I’m thinking not. My eyesight did change quite a bit though. After he gave me the new contacts, he puts lenses over my eyes and asks me what I see. I said, “nothing.” He told me that was my old prescription X( I knew it was pretty bad.<\/p>\n
I told him about my new floaters and he wants me to come back again to get my eyes dilated. I need to find a ride back to work. Hopefully I won’t be there for two hours again. I waited frelling forever. At least they apologized.<\/p>\n
After I ordered my contacts, I just wanted to order new lenses for my glasses. The glasses lady wouldn’t let me! She kept trying to convince me I needed to get new frames to put the lenses in. I’m like, wtf, no, I have frames, just put new lenses in! I just left since I needed to go back to work anyway. If they can find me frames that look better than my current ones and my insurance will pay for the whole thing, then ok. Otherwise, my frames are just fine for the three days a year I actually wear my glasses, especially because they were more expensive than what my insurance covers.<\/p>\n
I also went to the gynecologist, but I don’t think anyone wants to hear about that. <\/p>\n
We’re in the Poconos right now enjoying the extra long weeked. We all took Tuesday off too.<\/p>\n
I’ve been playing the sims a lot. Sim Lissy and Sim Bryan had a baby boy. I named him Nathan after Nathan Fillion. Sim Lissy wanted a girl though. Now she wants to buy a dollhouse. <\/p>\n
I went to the gym here yesterday. It’s a pretty pathetic gym, but enough to get the job done. I’m going again today.<\/p>\n
Rosemarry and Bill came over for dinner last night. Rosemarry bought a new laptop at BestBuy. A rep from HP helped her and spent two hours with her picking out a Dell. o_O At least he sold her a HP printer.<\/p>\n
Princess has been limping around. Either she hurt herself going down the stairs or it’s her arthritis. Poor puppy. She’ll still get on the couch and off the couch and on the couch and off the couch. We have to make sure that she doesn’t go upstairs during the day though, because she loves going up there, but has a really hard time getting back down again. She doesn’t seem to connect the two.<\/p>\n
We probably won’t do too much the rest of our little trip here. We’ll probably see District 9 tonight, but that’s about all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
