1/3/04:
Yesterday we woke up at 5am and left for Disney World!!! Gate 47 again ;) We finally got to the hotel around 11 or so and tried checking in, but their computers crashed. We ate lunch and came back to try checking in again and were told the computers were now working. And they crashed again. Finally Rachelle and I got our room, but my parents had to wait until 4 for theirs. So we decided to go to EPCOT, but we needed park cards. We waited in the lobby for like a half an hour and I fell asleep. We finally got the cards and went to the park, but my parents’ cards wouldn’t work. Luckily the hotel had given us temporary park cards before and never took them back, so we used those.
We shopped around for about an hour and came back and unpacked. The originally plan was to go and hang out in the hot tub downstairs, but we didn’t wanna get up and put on our bathing suites and stuff, so we filled up the jacuzzi and soaked our feet instead. They needed a good soak. I was so achy by that time yesterday.
After the soak, we watched some Farscape. Then was dinner time and we went to Spoodles! Me loves Spoodles. Food not quite as good as last time, but that was like the best meal I ever had, so it would be perty hard to top that. Then Rachi and I got crepes on a stick for dessert, watched Crossing Jordan, and went to bed.

I got my mother’s cold, bleh
Yesterday we walked to MGM. Yup, we walked. Our rooms are so far down the hallway, we’re already half way to the park if you take the stairs. Had some magic marshmallows in my favorite dish at The Prime Time Cafe (see cam archive) and the whole entire universe. Lovers my S’Mores. Went on the Rockin’ Roller Coaster and yes, The Tower of Terror. This time wasn’t as bad as last. Did a good job of holding myself in so I didn’t fly out of my seat again. Rachi says she loves that feeling. I hate it. Course my daddy was trying to grab on to the handle and I was perty much hogging it. Not my fault they don’t have the bar anymore! I love the Rockin’ Roller Coaster though. Especially the beginning when ya just shoot forward. Sooooo much fun screaming. We ate dinner at, where else, Sci-Fi dine-in :P Oh and the backlot tour was open again, yay :D Guess they closed it cause of the new stunt show thing opening this Spring. I could see it being perty hard to be building that with a tour going through the area. And they had so so so so so so many Christmas lights up in the NY backlot, but they didn’t light them up! WTF??? (turns out they were lit up until the 2nd, one day late)
Today we went to the Magic Kingdom. Went on everything we wanted to except Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain, but the park’s open late for extra magic hours tomorrow, so we’re gonna try and get them in then. Ya know we only had to wait about 10 minutes for the Haunted Mansion. I think that’s a new personal record. Mickey’s Philharmagic was a fairly short wait too. Made up for it with Stitch’s Escape though. They were out of fastpasses by the time we got there. But the wait wasn’t too bad. About 20 minutes. It was perty cute. A bit lame, but I think worth seeing. Went on the Carousel of Progress for probably the last time. I heard they’re closing it :( The sound is really going though. Could barely hear the daughter in one part. After the Magic Kingdom we came back to the hotel and then walked on over to EPCOT. Ate dinner at Norway. Had some yummy goat cheese and my bread with da meatballs :D Yum :P Then we went on the ride and watched Illuminations.

OK, so I’m, er, not sick anymore… my cold kinda… dissapeared. Note to self: Zinc, very good. Today Rachelle and I shopped around at the Disney Martket Place. Didn’t buy anything besides a presie for Carolyn.
Later we went back to the Magic Kingdom, originally because it would be open late for extra magic hours, but we got so much done yesterday, the extra magic wasn’t necessary. Since we got there an hour before the fireworks, we decided to go on Pirates again and then watched Wishes (the fireworks show). I would have gotten some good video of it too… if I pressed the button on my camera hard enough. Instead I just got the ground half the time. Oh well. Still have video from last year.
After, we came back to the hotel, ordered a pizza and ate it while we watched Farscape. Then, finally, the season premier of Alias!!! Only could have been better if Sark was in it. Ah well. We’ll see him later this season.

Today we went to Universal Studios. We went on the new Mummy ride first. Said outside the wait was 10 minutes. We waited about 40. Also failed to say outside that it was a roller coaster. Something my daddy wasn’t too thrilled about. His tummy don’t do well on those. Rachelle and I loved it though. We were afraid they’d dangle creepy crawlers in front of us or something, but there was just one itty bitty bug part and the bugs didn’t come near us. I don’t think anyway… had my eyes closed. But the rest of the ride was really cool. It stops a few times and shows u some nifty special effects. Also went on Men in Black, Back to the Future, Shrek 4-D, Earthquake, saw the animal and makeup shows. Plus the holiday parade that lasted an eternity. Oh and Terminator 3-D too. I kept my eyes open for more of it this year. One day I’ll be able to watch the whole thing.
We ate dinner at the steak place at the Yacht Club. So yummy. We eat there every year, I highly recommend it. Our waitress was really lookin’ for a good tip. She was saying how she was sure she waited on us before and how much her toe hurts.

Went to EPCOT today. Got up a bit early to make sure we could fit everything in. Sooo not a problem. The longest wait I think was for Honey I Shrunk the Audience which was about 2 minutes. Love this time of year. We went on Mission Space First. No wait for the standby line. Made me so dizzy this time though. I couldn’t even focus on the screen in the beginning. Still didn’t make me sick. My stomach
