Voter registration information
I don’t care who you vote for, but you should vote. Why? Not because your vote matters, it really doesn’t much, especially if you live in a state that’s always red or blue. Chances are, the same person will win whether you vote or not.
You should vote if you care about the country and the direction it’s going in. You should vote if you want the politicians to care about the issues you care about. If you’re scared about the economy, if you’re angry social security will run out, if you struggle to pay off the thousands you owe in student loans, if you’re 18 and want to legally drink, if you don’t like that the rest of the world thinks we’re idiots, if you care about anything the government does, then please vote and let them know you care.
If you’re not old enough to vote or don’t for whatever reason, volunteer, donate money, send letters. Let the politicians know you want them to fix things and why they should. We don’t have much power, but just sitting around complaining to our friends definitely doesn’t help anything.
