Disney with two kids that aren’t that close in age is pretty difficult. Fortunately we discovered Glenn just hits the 38″ mark now, so he can do four new rides, though he’s not crazy about Rollercoasters. So he did Mine Train and didn’t enjoy it much and wouldn’t go on Slinky, but he did do kali river rapids and he loves Smugglers’ Run. We did that one three times.

He gets overstimulated very quickly, which never was a thing with Owen, so he’s in full-blown meltdown mode by around 2pm every day. It has not helped that all this wonderful lightning lane crap errors out constantly so it’s really frickin’ hard to get passes for early in the day and even if I did, my parents aren’t around then. And then there’s the rides we’ve rope dropped, but broke down. We got LL passes for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but Remmy, oof, we ended up waiting an hour for that one.

And I have this cold i can’t shake. But enough of the complaining. We’ve done almost everything we wanted to do and coming back early has the advantage of giving the kiddos time to go swimming. Glenn’s actually pretty good in the pool. They both wear life vests, but I think Glenn actually moves around better than Owen already. We really need to get them swim lessons.

The new Tron ride is pretty great. Is Guardians better? Yeah, but it’s still a really fun ride. We did Guardians twice in one day, cause we could.

The highlight of the trip for me has been meeting my all time favorite character.

Doing guardians twice was great too.i didn’t realize the banter changes as well as the music. We convinced Glenn to do mine train, but he didn’t like it and refused to do slinky dog.

Our most successful morning was doing smugglers run several times in a row. Glenn is just tall enough for it and he loved shooting the guns. We even got further than we ever have before too. Saw some new scenes in star tours as well.
