I never wrote about our Hershey trip! We stayed at the Hershey Lodge a couple nights in late August. Their indoor water park is really nice. I like they have restaurants there and an ice cream place as well as activities like mini golf. We did not like the shuttle in the morning. We got out there plenty of time before the park opened and we waited 40 minutes each day. We also got charged for a movie we didn’t watch, which I’m sure was Glenn’s fault. I got a s’mores shake. It wasn’t that good.
It was a little chilly, and we tried doing the water area. Owen was doing the slides and stuff for a long time. Glenn got cold very quickly. The water was very cold. So we changed and got him some snacks. He saw Owen in the wave pool though and had some serious FOMO, so we got changed again and did that for a bit. The only ride we waited for was cup fusion, otherwise nothing really had a wait. Owen didn’t want to do the big big rollercoasters. The second day we did the zoo too and Glenn was surprisingly into that.
We also did the make your own candy bar thing at chocolate world. The kids really liked that, so I’m glad we did it. We also ate at the chocolatier and got the fondue for dessert which everyone enjoyed.
