I wrote two more fitness posts, but I didn’t like either of them.

Someone asked on the last post what I eat. I touched on that a bit in the moderation post. Every day I have old fashioned oats with an apple or a banana. I put yogurt, pumpkin and spinach in everything.

I take leftovers for lunch. When we don’t have leftovers, I’ll usually have a sandwich thin or some baby carrots with hummus. I’ll buy a salad or a slice of pizza from downstairs to eat with it.

Bryan makes dinner every night. He loves making his yummy chili. My favorite is spaghetti with meatless meatballs. We tend to eat a lot of cheese.

This is during the week. I don’t do as well on the weekends, or while I’m on vacation. It’s only day two of our vacation and I’ve already had like 1000 extra calories this week. I worked out today, but I’m not moving around as much as usual. It’s cold. Three degrees out. Hard to get up from under my blanket.

There’s puppies to play with though! Puppies 2008 pics. I was chasing them around yesterday. Will upload more pictures later. Bryan took video skiing too.

  1. Yeah, I get super lazy trying to exercise when it’s cold. =( I hate winter… LOL… Anyway, hope you’re enjoying your vacation! I actually was surprised that you’re taking even more days off from your job! You are one lucky bum!!

  2. The puppies are adorable! <333

I'm sorry it's so cold; I'd gladly trade. It's pretty warm in Australia.

I like the sound of spaghetti with meatless meatballs! You'll have to pry a recipe out of Bryan. ;) I admire that he cooks. I thought a lot of guys didn't cook… over the years my boyfriend and I have been together I must say I love that he is a man who can cook. ;D

  3. It’s definitely too cold to spend a long time outside!

And omg, your puppies are adorableee <3 I just want to snatch them up and nibble on them =P

    1. they are adorable, but they’re not mine :( they belong to my in-laws who we’re visiting in CO this week. Guess I should have mentioned that

  4. Hello Elissa! Your site is absolutely adorable. I love the little smiley face in the bottom corner! :D It made me smile.

Wow, you have such a healthy diet. Ugh, I am so bad at eating well… I want to lose about twenty pounds and it’s really not happening. I manage to give up soft drinks, desserts, and more than one snack per day during Lent but otherwise I am not very good at committing.

I agree; it’s always hard to work out (or just stand up!) when it’s cold outside. I actually worked out yesterday, but I have motivation for that. Usually I very rarely work out because it’s just not a part of my lifestyle. That’s probably not a good thing.

Oh, those dogs are precious! My aunt had a dog like that. ^^
