Yesterday was a very good day. I got into work early, no one was around so I got a lot of work done and I was able to leave early. I shopped for a little while after :) And Carolyn texts me that she’s engaged :D :D :D *throws confetti*
Today didn’t start out so great. The guy came by to buy my crap car. He was going to give me $1000 for it, but then he started it up. Right, the engine. The engine that makes an even worse noise than it used to. I had forgotten about that. I got $400 for it. I was afraid it was going to explode before he signed the papers.
Then I got my haircut and I felt a little better.
There is an intersection that I pass through every day on my way to work that’s an engineering masterpiece. I’ve hit it from all sides at one point or another and I never felt like I waited very long. Most people are turning, so the two sides take turns going and then the there’s a left turn arrow for the third side and the fourth goes straight with the third. No one waits long.
Then you get a shit light like the one by where I had my accident that turns red for the main street about every 10 seconds for the one car that has to turn left. There’s traffic backed up to our development during rush hour and it pisses me off because it would be so easy to fix.
The lights are about half a mile away from each other. What happened? How come engineer A didn’t do light B? This is what I was thinking about it on my way home from my haircut.
We finally spent Nana’s wedding gift on some new furniture :) We should have registered at Pier1. I can spend hours in that store.

Wow, love your new furniture! Can’t wait to see it for real – and we will hang your mirror for you once we get past this week.
Like your haircut too!
New furniture looks great!—thanks for the engagement shout out :D:D:D! squee!
squee!
With a lot of things, I wonder “who invented this?” or “who did this?” or “seriously?” :P I don’t think about traffic lights much but there’s one near my house where a small (but not really really quiet) street intersects the main highway… and the light turns green for literally ten seconds before it turns yellow and makes you stop. It is SO annoying and it gets so congested because in the small street is a bloody shopping centre. There are always so many cars. My mum and I had an accident there once, but that was because the guy who hit us wasn’t paying attention. I remember the light being green and the guy hit us from the opposite direction. -_-
Lovely hair! I hate my short hair. I’m trying to grow mine out. :3
I’ve never been to Pier1 before. I should look into that, but there’s no need for it any time soon. Haha. Nice new furniture though!! :)
Ooh, another friend getting engaged?! How awesome! Hehe.
Hey, sorry for being MIA (at least witht he commenting)
But love your new haircut. Funny cause I’m looking at the bottom left pic of you in your wedding dress and both looks great on you.
Haha wow.. from $1000 to $400… lol…
Oh and is that a mirror or a table?
thanks :)
it’s a mirror
