So this was my day at work… The first half hour was spent setting up for the United Way bake sale. Then Maryam and I made gift baskets for the raffle tomorrow.

Then in the afternoon I actually had an issue and like real work. Yeah. What was funny was when Jay was helping us update the ticket to assign it back to the tester. We were so afraid of messing up and he’s like, just get past the silly screen and submit it already. Then Kashif came in and he helped us and Jay’s like pfft, Kashif’s too helpful. … I guess you had to be there.

After work I had my eye exam. I can’t believe I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Whenever I went to my eye doctor it always took like two hours. This was cheap too. My insurance paid for nine months of contacts. That was pretty nice. I’d be nicer if it was a year, but I’ll take nine months.

Before my appointment I went to Kohls since it was right there and I bought speakers for my laptop that were 70% off and super snazzy. :D

This past weekend Bryan and I went shopping, I found out I suck at crocheting, and we hung out at Brian’s. We played Tennis… er, or something like it, took a walk and watched The Butterfly Effect because Bryan had never seen it.

This weekend I shall be home in Oradell dogsitting.

  1. Hey Lissy, thanks for the sweet comments, I really appreciate it. France is a lovely country at this time of the year. The people are quite awkward and should I say selfish, but I guess that’s the culture–and I am French myself, so that’s no big deal.

House is a kind of humor I really am fond of. Not to mention that Hugh Laurie is hot. And Robert Sean Leonard. And Jesse Spencer (that Australian accent!).

I didn’t think you were weird, because weird is to me something quite normal actually (and I’m way too hyper to be a bearable person). It adds to your personality, and by the way, your layout is terrific!

  2. LOL about work. Sounds like work’s actually more fun than serious… I’ve always imagined work as being really serious… LOL…

Anyways, LOL about the eye exam. Are you getting insurance from your job?? Because that is REALLY nice then! I have to pay for my contacts… ='(

    Wow, nice about the speakers!

    LOL about crocheting.

    Have fun dogsitting!

  3. Sounds like your insurance is heaps better then mine. Only takes a few bucks off at times, still leaving a huge payment left for me. Psht. 9 bucks of contacts is certainly good. :)

I need speakers for my laptop. How much did you end up paying? I have a Kohl’s not far from here. Maybe I’ll have to get some for myself.

I wish I can go shopping. Heck, I need to. No clothes to wear anymore. lol. I’m so broke!!
