The new people started this week. Makes work so much more fun, especially since everyone eats lunch together again :D I like the new class, they’re all really nice and they think I’m much smarter than I really am. :P When they had the meeting with all the mentors, everyone was like, “I’ve been here 20 years…” And me, “I’ve been here six months…” lol. They were impressed I was a mentor already. I think they just ran out of people who volunteered. I’m not so bad though, I have good advice on MATREX activities since, ya know, I just did that :D
I also started my project this week/last week. We had a good meeting today so I have a better idea about what I have to do and where all the good files are hiding that I can copy from :P I also found out, not only do I have to learn C++, I have to learn shell scripting! It’s like worse than C++. It’s pretty awful. I mostly just have to edit this other file though. I guess it’s good I’m learning a lot, but I’d rather be doing what Maryam’s doing. Java Servlets and Weblogic, yum! That’s much more interesting. I’ve been spending a lot of time helping her, lol.
Gotta go eat. Will return comments soon. I read a lot of blogs, but I was just too lazy to say anything at the time.
