Saturday Bryan and I had dinner with his parents, his brother and his girlfriend for his brother’s birthday. I guess it was like Asian Fusion. Very yummy and expensive. I had the duck. It was really good. I have yet to have a bad duck experience.
Sunday was Easter. I went to church with my parents by me and then we drove down to have, er, lunch dinner… linner with family. Once again, food was too yummy and I stuffed myself. We ate at 1pm and I didn’t eat the rest of the day. She had chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. OMG. I could eat those like all day every day. They were really good strawberries too and they were huge!
I’m currently living off of leftovers, including much chocolate. We spent only $40 on groceries this week, though that includes $20 off for buying baby products. We don’t buy baby products, but something we buy that has added up to $200 is considered a baby product. But whatever, free food.

Wow, you like duck? Hehe, I don’t know… I don’t even remember the last time I had duck! I usually get chicken or some other meat. =P
Yum! Chocolate-covered strawberries?! I WANT SOME! Hehehe!
Hehe about groceries… On average, my sister and I spend about $30 on groceries each week… LOL…
Wow… duck. I’m Chinese and even I don’t like duck. It’s too strong-tasting for me. As for groceries, for college students who lives with a bunch of housemates….I don’t cook very often. But with the recent drop in the US dollar, it’s getting very expensive to buy groceries over here in Canada. Sigh.
I can’t remember if I’ve ever had duck before. Perhaps, once I try it, the image will come back to me. lol.
Mmmm. Chocolate Covered Strawberries sound so good right now. I actually had a discussion about them with a co-worker on Saturday. She told me, that for a wedding present, someone bought her a chocolate fountain, and that’s all she makes with it. lol. I was like, “GIRL, YOU NEED TO MAKE ME SOME!!!” haha.
I’m a fellow fan of duck as well, and I hope that you don’t get a bad duck experience, or have one too soon.
I think we both spend the same amount when it comes to groceries, but I tend to buy for about 3 weeks so I don’t have to trudge back to the store on a weekly basis.
I’m secretly addicted to Gerber
Duck is awesome when it’s prepared right. My take is you had Peking Duck? Yum… I haven’t had that in a LONG time…. Glad you liked it!!
I’ve never had duck before. Does it taste pretty much like chicken?
I was bad. I didn’t make it to church for Easter. Ah, oh well. I go pretty much every Sunday. :-)
Yummmm!!! Chocolate strawberries. They had some of those as a dessert at a wedding reception I went to a couple of years ago. Yummy!! :-)
