We’ve all seen Palin make a complete fool of herself with Katie Couric, and now, we can watch her create more SNL material at the debate tonight! I’m excited.
I was reading an article this article this morning over at Jezebel.com.
I think Sarah Palin is probably the worst choice for VP McCain could have made. I don’t mind so much, because I think she’s helping Obama win, but she’s no good.
The author claims that Sarah isn’t a feminist because she doesn’t believe in a woman’s right to choose. She’s running for VP. I don’t think you can run for VP and not be a little bit of a feminist.
I don’t agree with her views on abortion and because it’s not a black and white issue, I don’t think candidates should force their beliefs on other people. Still, I respect her personal belief that abortion is murder. It’s what she truely believes and she just wants to stop people from killing babies in any circumstance. That belief alone doesn’t make her less of a feminist. It just makes her a bad choice for office.
But, and here’s where I’m going to piss people off, I prefer Palin’s views on abortion to McCain’s. Why? Palin is firmly saying, abortion is wrong, in all cases, no matter what, it’s murder. McCain says, well, in most cases, abortion’s wrong, but if something really bad happened, then I guess it’s OK. So, either murdering babies is OK in some cases, or you’re not really sure it’s wrong, but want to force your personal beliefs on people anyway. Nice. I would definitely rather have McCain than Palin making decisions about abortion, sure, but I respect Palin more for sticking to what she believes.
Obviously, I most agree with Obama. I don’t like abortion, but it’s not my place to tell people what they can and can’t do with their own bodies.
Should I discuss the rest of the article? She thinks homosexuality is a choice. … I’d like to meet this gay friend of her’s. Hey, gay friend, did you choose to be gay?

Palin scares me overall. It just really baffles me why McCain would pick her. I think McCain would have a slightly better chance if he wasn’t running with her. The only time they allow her near the media is if she’s been prepped some way.
I just finished watching the debate and she couldn’t even answer the questions she was asked.
Palin is an all-around idiot and McCain definitely should not have chosen her as a running mate. She can’t answer questions or formulate intelligent responses. I DO respect the fact that she sticks to what she believes, rather than trying to be deceptive and make things up for a vote like most candidates do.
