I Can Wear Boots!

Thanks everyone :D Boy, I didn’t even know I had so many friends on LJ, :P

We’re thinking about 01/02/2010, because it’s a palindrome. No, actually, that was just something I realized after picking the date. I think it’s good because everyone will be off the day before and it’s supposedly the least popular weekend of the year for a wedding because the first is so popular. Prices per person are about $20 less in January and February than the rest of the year and I kinda love the idea of a winter wedding. I get to wear boots!

So, now that we have a tentative date, we have to get an idea of how many people we’re inviting, set a budget, and start looking at venues. I also have a bunch of bridal shows marked on my calendars.

  1. Since I didn’t say it before, congrats on the engagement. The date’s pretty cool and it’s like you say, there isn’t much weddings that early in the year so people will remember it as special perhaps. And how clever to make a wedding blog.

    Yes winter weddings are less expensive, good decision to have it then! We just had ours — it’s a lot of work, just remember to take some time to sit, and take it all in. Look at everyone and see how much fun they are having on behalf of the 2 of you!!!
