I have my period this week, so I’ve been adding cocoa powder to my breakfast. Last night I created something absolutely delicious and healthy, so I thought I would share. It tasted like creamy chocolate pudding, so yummy.
1/2 a banana
two spoonfuls unsweetened apple sauce
a spoonful of natural peanut butter
a small handful of spinach
half a spoonful of chia seeds
two spoonfuls of cocoa powder
little bit on vanilla extract
two spoonfuls old fashioned oats
a spoonful of plain greek yogurt
Blend and let sit over night. The next morning: mmm, dessert for breakfast.

Yummy!!! (minus the banana’s ’cause they might kill me) — what is a good substitute for bananas??
Do you cook the oats or just put them in dry?
put them in dry. They get soft if you leave ’em in any sort of liquid for at least two hours. Substitute for banana… I mostly use it for sweetness and creamyness, maybe honey aaaand avocado? no, that sounds nasty. Maybe just the honey.
Oh my goodness that sounds delicious. I’m going to need to try that out someday!
Yum! My mum’s obsessed with chia seeds. She puts them in EVERYTHING.
I love plain Greek yoghurt. Now that with peanut butter sounds amazing.
