Having things to look forward to makes me more happy than the actual events. There’s little things, like seeing my parents, friends and Buffy this morning, having dinner with Bryan’s family next weekend, seeing the Glee movie with Julia, the second picnic. Then there’s slightly bigger things like the Girls Weekend in the Poconos, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s. Then the biggies: Rachi and Carolyn’s weddings, Italy and Disney World!
Can I tell you a secret? I’m more excited about Disney World than Italy. I’m sure I’ll have a great time in Italy, maybe even a better time, but I don’t think any place in the world can make me as giddy as Disney. I’ve had fun in other places, but no matter how many times I go, Disney always seems magical. Aaaand I have way too much fun planning the trip.

I finally got an invite for Pinterist thanks to Kirsty. Both my mom and Rachelle got an invite right after requesting one. I swear I checked my spam! Anyway, it’s the greatest site EVER! So addictive. I wish wish wish this existed when I was doing my wedding planning.
Helped my dad pick out a new phone yesterday. His old one drowned in the rain. Went to The Container Store and West Elm after. Hung out with Rachi after dinner. Celebrated her passing her test which officially means she’s all done with school and has a shiny new Masters degree! So proud of our Rachi :)

I wished Pinterest was around when I was planning my wedding too LOL. I’m excited about going back to Disney (huge, huge secret!) We’re going back October 29th 2012, my family know but Gareth’s doesn’t. We enjoyed our first time so much, we’ve been selling some of our stuff at car boot sales and we’ve made some cuts to our budget. Wish we could have afforded it this year, but we won’t have the money until next year.
I’m lucky my parents are vacation club members and Disney isn’t too far. It’s a relatively cheap trip for us. I would prefer going that time of the year, or maybe even December, but we’re not allowed to take vacation after Feb next year in case there’s a strike :( And since the verizon folks actually went on strike, I’m not taking any chances. It’d actually be good if it happened, I’d make a ton of money :)
You’re seeing the Glee movie?! I wished I could. I don’t even know where it’s playing, but it’s probably expensive. :(
That’s so awesome that you have things to look forward to! That’s actually the best feeling! :)
I’ve actually been looking into pinterest today, but apparently I’m on some sort of waiting list… I don’t even know =P It looks like so much fun, but I guess i have to wait before I can join in… lol.
Disney can definitely make you giddy =D I’ve only ever been to the one in Paris, but I imagine it’s the same vibe in any Disney park ^^
