OK, so, I’m not in school anymore, but peoples’ kids are and everyone scrambles to take their vacation days at the end of the year, so it’s kinda like break.

Monday we went dress shopping in the city and saw “The Tree” at Rockefeller Center. Wednesday I went dress shopping again because it’s addictive. You can read about that experience in my wedding blog.

Tuesday we went to the at&t store and got my parents’ account transferred into my name so we can get the discount on service. We also got new phones. I got the Samsung Propel. It’s like my old phone, but better and it has a full qwerty keyboard. I don’t have a messaging plan yet, but I think I’ll get the unlimited one since I get 50% off.

I went to Carolyn’s for New Year’s Eve. I drank a lot, but it made it more fun. I ate waaaay too much because Carolyn kept complaining that no one was eating the food and there was a lot of food and I really like eating. We talked a lot about the wedding. I like talking about the wedding, and I’m glad people are excited about it, but I don’t want people to like get sick of me talking about it, lol. It will eventually get annoying, I’m sure.

Thursday I woke up late so I didn’t do much.

Friday I went to work in the morning because I had nothing better to do. Yeah, I know. Everyone in the office was like … why are you here???? I actually did get some work done.

I took off the second half of the day and went shopping with Bryan. We went to Macy’s to use our gift certificate, but it turns out it didn’t print out correctly, so we left empty handed :( We had dinner at Uno’s and it was apparently a very large number of calories so I hopped on the treadmill when we got home. I was supposed to do my strength training exercises, but my tummy wasn’t up to it.

Today my mommy and I went to look at more venues.

Oh and I think I’m getting her cold.

Now you’re caught up :)

  1. Happy New Year, Lissy!

The propel looks really cool! I love QWERTY keyboards. They make texting a lot easier. :P

  2. LOL, I kind of had a winter break too, but I was still on-call… =(

Ooh yay! When you get texting, let me know so that I can text you! =P Ahahaha.

Hmm, I wonder if my sister’s friend has that phone…

Hehe, glad you had a great New Year’s Eve. I’d be excited for the wedding too!! Too bad I probably won’t get to see it… =(

Woah, you actually went to work?! OMG… You are CRAZY… LOL!

    … =( I hope you’ll feel better soon… I’m glad I don’t get sick easily…

  3. Happy New Year! Sounds like you had a great New Years. :)

I’ve been sick too. *spreads my germs all over you*

That phone is pretty cool. I’m learning all about them now, since I started my new job at the phone kiosk. I don’t believe we have the propel in, since we only carry certain ones.

    BTW, tag you’re it. ;)

  4. I decided to give myself a two week winter break as well… lol something to do instead of sitting at the computer.

Oooh, I hope you have found somewhat of the dress that you want! I will need to check on your wedding blog to keep updated.

Oooh, the Samsung Propel looks great, and small, and convenient!!

I know what you mean… I got this cough going, but I’m not really sick. Just the cough… sick… blah

  5. To me, shopping for a wedding dress seems like fun, but what would I know. I think it seems like fun ’cause who would mind spending the day trying on beautiful dresses?
To spend New Years Eve drinking and eating alot seem good. The right way to spend that evening I think.
