Another uneventful week. I really have to do another a day in the life, but people have not been here a lot lately with training and taking vacations before the possible strike. Maybe tomorrow.

Saturday we went to see one photographer and I had an appointment with the evil David’s Bridal. I actually found a dress I liked though, and it fits like a glove. Is it “the one?” Eh, who knows. I still have two more appointments to go.

We went out to dinner for my daddy’s birthday and then watched the two movies I got him: Wanted and Zack and Miri.

Sunday we went to see another photographer and went to brunch after. Well, it was supposed to be lunch at this burger place, but now they serve brunch. And expensive brunch. $25 for adults, but we think that’s because alcohol’s included. I was only $8.95 though, because, ya know, obviously I’m not 13 yet. Maybe it’s under 21 because of the alcohol thing, but it’s listed as “child” on the receipt. Anyways, we won’t be going back there because apparently it’s not worth it unless you want to get drunk in the middle of the day.

  1. Wow… $25 IS expensive for brunch!! Those places are such a rip unless if they really do have a unique menu.

That’s really good that the dress fit, definitely keep your options opened for the remaining two appointments.

  2. I hope that you’ve found the dress that you like. I can imagine how hard it must be to pick the perfect dress for such an important day. I always say, that if you have to do a retake on a decision than it’s probably not the best one. As women, we are pretty intuitive and certain about things on the first trial.

$25 sounds like a rip-off. It better be a damned good place to eat!

  3. Wow, I left and you’ve only blogged once? =P That’s good for me. Haha.

Wow, you got Zack and Miri for your dad?!! LOL!

Woah about brunch!! Man, talking about food makes me want to get some… Good food, I mean. LOL.

  4. I hate attending appointments to have suits tailored. Just a big pain.

$25 is way too much for brunch. What food were they serving?

Haha, and excellent movie choices. I loved both of them.
