The party on Saturday went well. We had about a thousand delicious desserts. Helen’s artichoke dip did well, but my salad didn’t get much attention. In addition to the four desserts she brought, Julia made me pillows. Yes, MADE me pillows. They’re adorable and awesome. We played Rock Band and Apples to Apples. Same old, same old, but always fun.

Sunday we helped Virginia move. We went out to dinner after at Chili’s. I ordered the grilled shrimp alfredo, which I learned very quickly, was a big mistake. I guess my stomach can’t handle 185% of its daily value of saturated fat in one meal X( I was very sick for about two hours. I was pissed I couldn’t exercise or eat any of the many leftover desserts we had. At least I didn’t digest that garbage. I had no idea it would be that bad. 5120mg of sodium, wtf?

As for work … all that crap I’ve been writing about in regards to the weblogic stuff … Well, he who shall remain nameless, couldn’t finish what he needed to in time and we were still getting nowhere with our servlets, so it’s been moved from August to October. This gives us more time, but EVERYTHING is going out in October now. If there’s a problem, mass panic.

Power went out yesterday when we were in a meeting discussing this stuff. Room went completely dark. I came upstairs and everyone was hanging out in the hallway. Power outages are fun.

My skin broke out again. I think it’s time I suck it up and go see a dermatologist. Tell ’em just to give me anything that’ll keep my skin clear for the next seven months.

  1. Wow, pillows? That’s pretty awesome!

OMG… That has 185% daily value of satuated fat?! Ok, now I need to remember NOT to order that when/if I go to Chili’s…

LOL, yeah, power outages are fun when you’re not at home.

Hmm about your skin… =/ Well, good luck! Let me know what works for you!!

  2. 185% of its daily value of saturated fat?! Why do someone even make a meal like that?! That’s completely insane.
Power outages is a great way to get a break without anyone caring. My mom got to go home early one day since the power went out and didn’t come on and she works with nothing but a computer.
