Yeah, so I don’t know about the rest of you, but I wasn’t able to get to the password protected entry on this computer with firefox for some reason. Or my boyfriend’s in safari. Worked fine in IE and my computer at home though. So I apologize to anyone who couldn’t read it. There’s nothing juicy in there or anything, just stuff I wouldn’t want a random passerby to see.
–edit– it’s fixed now thanks to chau! –/edit–

I still don’t know what I’m doing this weekend. My new credit card is home and I’m not. I could go home this weekend, but Bryan wants me to go with him to his brother’s. I did suggest that he could drive me home at some point so I can pick up my new credit card, but that’s a lot of driving for him. Aaaand I can’t go home next week because my daddy’s going to the Poconos. I do need my credit card though. I only have like 20 meals left and I’ve run out of cereal, frozen dinners and have only one easy mac left. Plenty of PB&J though, but, ya know, I can’t exactly live off of that.

  1. I think the reason why you couldn’t “access” your password protected entry is because there’s a certain way you have to go to your site for it to work. With the www. in front of your URL, even if you enter the correct password, it’d make it seem like you didn’t. BUT if you go to your site WITHOUT the www. in front, then your entry will show up. It’s just a matter of how you write your URL, especially in your admin for your WP… WP uses that as to which cookie to use/look at to see if you have the right password… So you should just use one URL or the other… And make it consistent…

Anyways, good luck getting your credit card…

  2. Right now, as with what you have set up, it has to be without the www. What I meant about keeping it consistent is that when I go to http://www.silvercpu.com/blog, and then go to comment, it’ll redirect me to a URL without the www. If you don’t want that to happen, then in your WP admin, you need to include the www. If you don’t, then redirect your visitors to the no-www. version…
