This weekend was awesome, well, minus the part where I got up early to do something yesterday for the production install and then couldn’t do it until 10:00 and then it didn’t work and I had to stay on until 1:30. Oh well, I get overtime pay.
So many people I love were here yesterday to celebrate, eat and laugh with us. Bunch of people went downstairs to play Rock Band, the rest of us stayed up here and it was great because we could actually talk. I love this house!
I did have a wee bit too much wine. I was not drunk, I was just … happy. I mean, you all know me, I act drunk when I haven’t had any alcohol at all.
We played games and ate food. Oh the food. There were many desserts, GOOOOOD desserts. Not only did they taste good, but Emily’s cake was in the shape if a house and Julia Koalafied her’s. I have talented friends. People did bring real food too, very yummy. Caity’s stew was a hit too :)
Today I relaxed. Woke up late, well, late for me, watched the Buffy marathon almost all day, spent some quality time with my Bryan and had a really great nap. I did exercise, but then I had a huge piece of the house cake. I’ll be about three to five pounds heavier by the end of the week.
This Buffy marathon’s kinda terrible. Based on votes, but most of the episodes have been the Spike centric ones. Spike is awesome, yes, but there is more to Buffy than Spike. Angel for instance. Haven’t seen my favorite Spike episode yet either, School Hard, but I may have missed it yesterday. The top three episodes better be Fear Itself, Hush and Once More With Feeling.
LOL about Spike. My sister’s old best friend used to love him, and I remembered that she’d make my sister make graphics/layouts of Spike for her… LOL.

Ooohh…yay for parties and having good dessert, but I don’t blame you for not wanting a lot. (ok, that comment might have been for the blog before this one, hah) Lol. And wine=yummy.
I remember when I used to watch Buffy all the time. Haven’t seen it in forever. :-)
