Work was pretty bad most of the week. I worked Monday and Tuesday night doing testing with Roy. I told him that I can’t be spending all of my time on AWS because I have regular work to do too that’s really not getting done. We installed the AWS stuff Thursday night and Friday I actually was able to make some progress on the new wsdl stuff. I’m pretty sure I’m turning Ruben’s code into one big mess, but I think it’ll work.
Friday was awesome though. We declared it a holiday because Roy wasn’t there, so the status meeting was cancelled. 16 of us went out for a long lunch at the Malaysian place. Everyone was so giddy. Not just the RUBY people. Everyone was giggling and joking. You’d think it really was a holiday. I guess everyone else had a long week too. Or maybe my happy mood’s just that infectious :P
I want to see Inception! Will probably go next weekend. I also want to play with the new Samsung Captivate. Gotta decide between that and iPhone 4. People seem to say Android phones are better, but I have yet to hear a compelling argument that would force me to agree. One advatage, I could write my own apps, but am I really going to do that? I haven’t made a new layout in three years, but I’m gonna write some random app for my phone? Probably not. I have time to decide, but if anyone feels strongly either way, let me know.
Man, I’d love a holiday/vacation right about now! LOL.

Can’t you write your own apps anyway?? I guess you’d have to submit them with Apple and then receive them 3rd party style, right?? I don’t have any idea and won’t pretend to, but I’m quickly becoming an Apple fangirl and plan to purchase the white iPhone 4! Can’t wait. I watch all Apple’s presentations and press conferences and Jobbs went up recently to basically address all the media hype on supposed “reception issues’ with the iPhone.

It’s their “Guide to Greener Electronics” and has a cool little speedometer type flash chart that shows how companies stack up. It’s a real simple little guide you might find interesting.

Sounds like you had fun on your impromptu holiday! I love work days like that. :) As for phones, I’m an iPhone fan myself. Everyone that has one loves it. I haven’t really heard anything about Droid phones, though.
To be honest, work has sounded like a pain in the butt, but then again; it seems like Friday made up for it :) . Too bad I could never take a nice, long lunch where I used to work at.
To be honest, I never had either of those phones. I have a ENV3 Touch from Verizon and no problems yet so far.
If you do go and see Inception, please let me know it is? I want to see that movie so bad.
