Today was a lot of fun. We took a trip to the Bedminster office to take a tour of GNOC (Global Network Operations Center). And I didn’t get lost on the way there or the way back! Everyone went to Friday’s after and I missed the exit for that, so I just went home, but other than that. And I wouldn’t have missed the exit if I knew what exit I was looking for, lol.
Yeah, but anyway. First we did ice breakers, because you know, after a week of working together we needed to break the ice. Then peoples talked to us and we had presentations. But the tour. They had this whole museum exhibit set up with interactive stuff, that was pretty neat. Then we watched a short little movie (seriously, think Disney World attraction, lol). Then the screen went up and revealed GNOC, lol. It’s really cool. If you ever get the opportunity to take the tour, I recommend it.
They showed us a bunch of charts. Like the big spike on 9/11 in calls and AI vote night, lol. AI vote night is a big night for them. The guy explained how they do the voting too. The whole thing was pretty interesting.
I got home earlier than I normally do too since they let us go an hour early. We came in an hour late too. ‘Course I was there an hour and a half early because I thought I’d hit a lot of traffic and there was none! lol. I hit traffic on the way back, but I still made it home in about an hour. It was worth the extra driving though :)
I work for at&t btw for those of you who don’t know, lol. So, um, go buy an iphone and sign up for at&t wireless.

Hehe, I’m glad you had a fun day today!
LOL about the charts, and the big spikes in calls.
Sounds like the jobby is working out nicely! Good for you! That’s funny that they explained how the AI voting works. I bet that *would* be a big night for them! lol.
That’s pretty interesting that they taught y’all how the voting in AI works. :) I’d like to know. You should explain to us. hehe.
I want an iPhone! :)
