We finally got our assignments at work. For the next six months, me and 5 other people in the MATREX program shall be supporting testing. We’re not testers, we support the testers. So this means, a tester’s testing something, and oops, something’s not working right. They hand the problem over to us and it’s our job to figure out if it’s really a problem, and if so, who we should contact to fix it. So it’s not as bad as testing. Not as fun as developing, but it could be much worse. We could be writing test plans *shivers.*
We haven’t started anything yet though. There’s still software to be installed and training to be done. So we’ve been kinda sitting around mostly the last couple of days chatting, lol. We’ve been taking some classes, but they’re boring and easy. Eh, getting paid to be bored is better than getting paid to be stressed :D I told my office mate I’m gonna bring in crayons tomorrow and we can color to make pretty pictures for our walls. I’ll probably forget.
The party Sunday was a lot of fun. We played games, ate Mac and Cheese, good times :D I’ll upload the pics now.
