So I tried getting my refill of zyrtec today with my new insurance. I thought it was going to be cheaper than before, because the benefits website says it’s only $17 for non generic. They told me it was going to be $54! And when I looked it on on the plan’s site, it said $65… wtf??? So, I’ll probably be buying generic otc claritin which I don’t know if it’ll work or not. They also don’t cover my seasonale or generic so I’ll be paying a lot for that. Though it’s not as much money as other drugs. They cover some other extended cycle pill, but I can’t seem to find any information on their site about that. It’s not generic seasonale, so I don’t know what it is. I have no idea about my face stuff. I can’t imagine that being very expensive though.

Anyways, Bryan and I did our laundry today and then we went shopping :D I bought a new skirt to replace the one that had that unfortunate huge hole incident. We also went down to the bay which is like a mile from our apartment. We walked along the, er “beach” if you can call it that. A puppy came up and sniffed me :D

  1. Here in the UK we pay tax which (among other things) covers medical bills (most of them anyway). The only problem with the NHS (National Health Service) is that you often have to wait a long time for things, or pay huge amounts of money to go private.

  2. Our insurance plan for medication sucks too. I’ve been medicated all my life. Only takes care of about 5-10 bucks of it. Big woot. *sarcasm* It’s pretty useless.

  3. aww puppy~! That sucks about your medication plan! Those bastards! I don’t have prescriptions, but my sis does, and I’m pretty sure we have them covered >_> I don’t remember.

  4. Lissy’s life as a working girl sounds interesting! I hope when I get a real job that I’ll get paid well to be bored and do easy things too. hehe. Unyay for the overpriced meds though. Greedy folks.
